Samuel F. Hudson

Mr. Hudson was born and raised in Sequatchie County, and he graduated from Sequatchie County High School in 1991. Since then, Mr. Hudson has lived and worked all over the country and the world.
Mr. Hudson obtained his undergraduate education from the United States Military Academy at West Point where he earned a Bachelor of Science in American Politics in 1995. Upon graduation from West Point, Mr. Hudson was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army Corps of Engineers, and he served as an active duty combat engineer officer for five years. As part of his military training, Mr. Hudson successfully completed the U.S. Army's Air Assault, Airborne and Ranger courses.
Mr. Hudson earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2003 where he graduated summa cum laude. While in law school, Mr. Hudson served on the Tennessee Law Review, the Constitutional Law Moot Court Team, and was admitted to the Order of the Coif.
Following law school, Mr. Hudson served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) attorney with the U.S. Army for four years before leaving Active Duty service and pursuing a legal career in the civilian sector. Prior to opening his own law office, Mr. Hudson worked for one of the oldest and largest law firms in Tennessee where he focused on civil defense litigation. Mr. Hudson's defense experience has enabled him to better serve his clients in their roles as plaintiffs.
In his free time Mr. Hudson enjoys riding his bike through the valley, and traveling to various places. Mr. Hudson also has four (4) sons and five (5) grandsons who he enjoys spending as much time with as possible.
